A Bit About Me
After earning my master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Mount Mary University, I began my career working in higher levels of care with individuals navigating complex trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and eating disorders. I am on a mission to make the world a little brighter for the people that I cross paths with.
About My Therapy Approach
My approach to therapy is active, compassionate, and collaborative. I blend evidence-based practices like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with art therapy, trauma-informed care, and person-centered counseling. Each session is personalized, whether that means traditional talk therapy or expressive approaches. My goal is to offer steady support, ease feelings of isolation, and help you reconnect with your strengths so you can live a more authentic and fulfilling life.

My Professional Journey
Higher Level of Care Therapist
EMDR
Trauma Certificate
In my work within higher levels of care, I’ve supported individuals and groups facing complex trauma and dual diagnoses. This experience has taught me the importance of meeting each person where they are, balancing structure with compassion, and helping clients develop the insight and coping tools needed.
My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to trauma-informed care and evidence-based approaches that promote lasting healing. One of the methods I use is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an approach that helps individuals process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional intensity tied to past events. By integrating EMDR at a pace that feels comfortable, I aim to support clients in finding clarity, self-compassion, and emotional balance as they move forward on their healing journey.
In 2022, I completed a Trauma Counseling Certificate at Mount Mary University, which deepened my understanding of how trauma impacts our emotions, relationships, and sense of self. This training strengthened my ability to create a safe and supportive space for healing while helping clients reconnect with their inner strength.
Board Certified Art Therapist
Art has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I love bringing that creativity into the therapy room. As an art therapist, I use art as a tool to help you explore emotions and experiences that can be hard to express with words alone.

Insurances I Participate With
BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare and Out of Pocket.
A Peek Into My Life
Outside of the office, I love expressing myself through art and have included a few photos of my pieces below. Traveling is another big part of my life, and I’ve had the joy of exploring over 20 countries while experiencing new cultures along the way. When I’m home, you can usually find me in the kitchen baking fresh bread, with sourdough being my favorite weekend activity.
Volunteering
I am currently a Junior Board Member with Shalva, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence. I joined in the summer of 2025 and have been actively involved in advocacy and fundraising efforts. Being part of this mission-driven organization has allowed me to contribute to meaningful change and help raise awareness for an important cause that I deeply care about.
