A Bit About Me
After graduating from the University of Michigan, I dove into my career while earning my master’s degree in social work from Michigan State University. Nearly a decade later, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all backgrounds as they navigate life’s challenges and changes. I strive to make therapy a collaborative, safe, and judgment-free space where you can be yourself. Rooted in my belief that every person has the strength and resilience to create meaningful change, I support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings, and taking steps toward the life you want, while also keeping you accountable to your goals so your progress feels tangible and lasting.
About My Therapy Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and centered around what works best for you. I’m here to help you uncover the strategies that actually stick, the ones that make sense for your life and your goals. Together, we’ll dig deeper into the root causes of what’s getting in your way, while also working on practical tools for real-life problem solving. I use a wide mixture of evidence-based practices to support your growth. To name a few, I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and solution-focused techniques. I believe in both accountability and compassion. Sometimes that means gently challenging you to step outside your comfort zone, and other times it means slowing down and adjusting when life gets messy. Above all, I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we figure things out together.

A Peek Into My Life
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy experimenting with new gluten-free recipes, staying active, spending quality time with family and friends, catching up on the latest TV shows and movies, getting lost in a good book (or at least trying to), and exploring new places whenever I can. I’m also passionate about continuing to learn, growing both personally and professionally, and finding new ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with.
Volunteering
After joining Phi Sigma Sigma during my college years, I remained deeply involved as an alumna, dedicating my time to mentoring and supporting undergraduate members. My roles began in 2019 when I am became a General Advisor, Senior Mentor, and Scholarship Committee Member. I’ve guided students through academic, leadership, and personal growth challenges. I provide mentorship, oversee chapter operations, and help foster a strong, values-driven community. My work ensures that members have the resources and support they need to thrive both in college and beyond.
In 2024, I took on the role of Chapter Director for A Home Within in Illinois, a nonprofit that provides free, long-term therapy for anyone who has been part of the foster care system, no matter their age. My role involves recruiting and supporting volunteer therapists, building relationships with local organizations, and ensuring our clients have access to the care they deserve. I organize meetings, provide resources for volunteers, and advocate for trauma-informed mental health support. At the heart of it, I make sure our chapter runs smoothly so therapists can focus on what matters most, helping others.
