A Bit About Me
I earned my Master’s Degree from Western University and began my career supporting grieving families. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being alongside people during some of their most difficult seasons, offering both a safe space to process and practical tools for healing. As both a Private Practice Therapist and Hospice Social Worker, I bring empathy, compassion, and a steady presence to help you navigate whatever life may bring. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and rooted in the belief that you are capable of growth, even in the toughest moments.

About My Therapy Approach
I strive to provide a supportive and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to share your experiences, emotions, and challenges without fear of judgment. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one where we work side-by-side with compassion, honesty, and curiosity to help you make sense of your experiences and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll focus on fostering clarity, building resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
My work draws from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused techniques. These approaches allow us to address patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping tools, and highlight your existing strengths. Every session is tailored to your unique needs, pace, and goals.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or stress, or working through past experiences, my goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and aligned with who you want to be.

What to Expect in Therapy
Therapy is a space to explore, grow, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. Together we focus on helping you:
-
A Judgment-Free Space: Therapy works best when you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of being misunderstood.
-
Real-Life Support: We know life can be messy, and we meet you right where you are. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most, using practical strategies you can take with you outside of sessions.
-
Accountability & Encouragement: Change doesn’t happen overnight, but you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll support you while also keeping you accountable to the goals you set for yourself.
-
Personalized Care: Your story is unique, and so is our approach. We tailor therapy to fit your needs, goals, and pace.
-
Compassion & Honesty: You’ll be met with understanding, encouragement, and the kind of honest feedback that helps you grow.
-
Build Confidence & Personal Development: Strengthen your self-belief and develop tools to navigate challenges with confidence.
My Professional Journey
Mental Health Therapist
Hospice Social Worker
Substance Abuse Family Services Therapist
As a mental health therapist, I support individuals navigating a variety of emotions and life challenges. I work closely with each person to help them process their feelings and achieve their unique goals. My approach focuses on building confidence, developing healthy coping skills, and empowering clients to feel more in control.
As a hospice social worker, I provide caring support through individual, group, and family sessions to help you begin and navigate the grieving process. In individual sessions, we focus on your personal journey, allowing space to explore your feelings and develop coping strategies tailored to your needs. Group and family settings offer a safe environment to share experiences, connect with others facing similar losses, and strengthen bonds with loved ones. Together, we work toward healing, resilience, and finding hope amid the challenges of grief.
I provided therapy for children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate challenges such as stress, grief and loss, family conflict, divorce, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. My approach includes both individual and group therapy, with experience in brief interventions as well as ongoing, long-term support. I focus on creating treatment plans that fit each person’s unique needs, whether that means addressing daily stressors or working through deeper struggles.
I participate with BCBS PPO, Cigna, Aetna, and HAP.
A Peek Into My Life
I love spending time with my family, whether we’re exploring somewhere new or just enjoying the day together. Being outdoors is one of my favorite ways to recharge, sometimes that’s a walk in nature, other times it’s just sitting outside and taking in the fresh air. I also appreciate the quiet, cozy moments at home that help me reset.
