A Bit About Me
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University. Since graduating, I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of settings. As both a School Social Worker and Private Practice Therapist, I take a team-oriented and authentic approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered. I use evidence-based methods tailored to each individual’s needs. My goal is to help clients strengthen their inner resources and build practical strategies to manage life’s challenges effectively. I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and working alongside families to support comprehensive growth.

About My Therapy Approach
Life can be messy, and I don’t shy away from that in therapy. I’m here to support you through real-life challenges; whether that means being a listening ear or helping you stay accountable. I believe our relationships, both with others and ourselves, are important to our well-being, and together we’ll explore, process, and strengthen them.
I use a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Insight Therapy Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and more, to support growth and meaningful change. A big part of this work is helping you rebuild and strengthen your self-worth so you can move through life with more clarity and confidence.

My Professional Journey
Mental Health Therapist
School Social Worker
Crisis Counselor
Medical Advocate
As a mental health therapist, I support teens and all adults in navigating a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I work closely with each client to create individualized treatment plans and help people achieve their personal goals. I also involve families when helpful, offering additional sessions and guidance to strengthen support outside of therapy. My focus is on helping clients build confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, and feel more in control of their lives. I provide a space that feels safe and supported.
I work as a school social worker where I support students facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I provide one-on-one support, collaborated with families and school staff, and help students work toward goals related to self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and academic success. I also conducted risk assessments, connect students to community resources, and help lead weekly social-emotional learning activities. This experience gives me a deep understanding of how school, family, and mental health intersect and it continues to shape the compassionate, whole-person approach I bring to therapy today.
During my time as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line, I supported individuals navigating moments of overwhelming stress and uncertainty. This experience allowed me to strengthen skills in active listening, de-escalation, and collaborative problem-solving, while working alongside supervision to ensure each person felt safe and supported. It deepened my ability to stay present in difficult moments and guide people toward calm and clarity; skills I continue to bring into my work as a therapist.
I walked alongside survivors and their loved ones during some of their most vulnerable moments. I provided compassionate support, helped them understand their rights and options, and offered advocacy during hospital visits. This experience reinforced the importance of empowering individuals to make their own choices and strengthened my commitment to creating a safe, supportive space where healing can begin.
I participate with BCBS PPO, Cigna, and Aetna.
A Peek Into My Life
Outside of the therapy room you can often find me watching movies while enjoying steak, getting my hair done, soaking up the sunshine at the beach, sipping coffee, or planning my next travel adventure.
